I get the rivalry but we really shouldn't laugh at a team losing a 3 year unbeaten home record
And that after having more rest time between games than anybody else, plus an FA cup tie against a school teamNo goals in the last four league games; one in the last five, and that was against West Brom, who had just sacked their manager.
Even taking the Palace match into account, it’s eight in their last six games.
Hahaha remember that, shortly before they wore Brighton shirts in the Kop
I thought that after the way they have played over the last 2 seasons it would eventually blow up in their face. 2 years of high intensity win win football, playing the same 11 is not sustainable. Plus add to that their best defender getting injured (not the 1st team to have that issue) hasn’t helped.
I do think Klopp needed to have a backup for VVD. Bad bad management to depend on one defender.I thought that after the way they have played over the last 2 seasons it would eventually blow up in their face. 2 years of high intensity win win football, playing the same 11 is not sustainable. Their other injuries havent helped but the manager should really have different tactics than relying on the exact same 11 players being available.
That was a formidable run.
Yep....Salah agitating behind the scenes as well, looks like the Klopp Mainz/Dortmund meltdown is in the post
That’s what pissed me off about them last season. Virtually same 11 every week and hardly any injuries. They were unstoppable last season but the pace has caught up with them and so has the luck they had on VARI do think Klopp needed to have a backup for VVD. Wow!As Martin Tyler said at Anfield during the 0-0 with United " nearly 4 years unbeaten at home in the league - absolutely sensational home form"
Yep, formidable.
Now since the start of the unbeaten run: P69-W55-D13-L1 Points 178.
But not a match for City home games over the same period: P69-W58-D6-L5 POINTS 180.
I'd say that was fourmidable. Like 18/19 the number of Wins Win Leagues.
And we all know the reason why; the colour of our shirts.Retaining a title isn’t for everyone
That 2018/19 title win with 98 points and Liverpool right up our arse the whole way to the line, and then adding the two cups to be first team to do the domestic treble, really hasn’t been spoken about enough
Their run of poor form has been against lowly opposition. This underlines how poor they have been recently. Relegation form even!If there is a God
