What about the rags? How many times did he shoe horn them in?Re-watched the game yesterday. After 20 mins Tyler had mentioned VanDyke five times and Bobby Firminho once.

The Liverpool forum is a classic example of this. Their posters say the same about City being favoured, and believe everyone is out to get them. Tyler, the press, refs. You're dead right. It's called "confirmation bias". People already believe there is a conspiracy against their club so they look at everything through that prism. They magnify anythign which appears to confirm that belief and ignore anything which disproves it.
You go on any other football forum this week and there will be fans going mad about the way the media supposedly fawn over Pep and now Foden and ignore their club.
Well said, totally agree.See, its things like this that make me not buy into the "conspiracy" / "bias" crap....when we had a poor run, and they start questioning City players too many people think there is some sort of vendetta....they say it about all clubs.
They say it to get reactions from listeners/readers
To be fair, there’s a definite part of this forum that thinks the same about City. That’s football though, everyone sees the same things differently. The Liverpool forum is a classic example of this. cool.......Cool,that has nothing to do with what i posted though.
For Christs sake stop regurgitating this utter rubbish about a horrendous injury list. Check every match over the last three seasons and you have had a minimum of nine first choice players in every game. EVERY GAME. So what if Fabinho and Footballer of the year Henderson played at centre back. they are first choice players. In effect you have been at most two first choices out. Van Dijk and either Matip or Gomez (whoever you deem first choice). Will this ever sink in or are you a total idiot? Why is this? The first sentence shows how daft the ‘worst defending champions ever’ comment was and as for the second, look at United. Not one of you or I would ever have had them near the top of the league right in it at this stage. If you win the league this season, it doesn’t mean you’re a bad team or you won’t have deserved it. But if United won it, have they then usurped the likes of us two as the new kings? Of course not, because there are a lot of other factors in play. So if LFC finished 4th this year, would it be the end of the world? In fairness, the drop would hurt but it’s against the backdrop of a full season under the cosh of a pandemic and a pretty horrific injury list. It’s not ideal but it doesn’t make us a bad team overnight. That’s what I mean in the second sentence, not that anything you may win will be tarnished for example. Far from it, the best team usually wins the league whatever year.
Everyone is guilty of this, I’ve heard Alan Shearer be quite complimentary of city before on MOTD and there’s been outrage on here about what he saidYou're dead right. Yet another Conditional Win for Pool supporters to celebrate. The Echo printed an article claiming that Allison played those passes to take three City players out of the game and could have resulted in disaster for us if they had come off.

Agree with this but (and this is my personal axe to grind) even when we get fairly due praise there's always an edge to it. Dan Walker on MOTD last night a great example. City were "frightening". The Times after the West Brom game "ominous" performance. These are negative descriptors of positive things, and words that wouldn't be used for other teams. "Frightening" would be fantastic, superb, excellent, etcEveryone is guilty of this, I’ve heard Alan Shearer be quite complimentary of city before on MOTD and there’s been outrage on here about what he said
What UTTER b*llshit. The one he passed straight to Bernie he wasn't even looking. The Echo printed an article claiming that Allison played those passes to take three City players out of the game and could have resulted in disaster for us if they had come off.
