If we can't beat them at Anfield when their only fit CB is a 19 year old who was playing in the 5th tier last season, we will never win there.
They'll probably have Fabinho back by then, and tbf both he and Henderson have looked pretty decent at centre half. Should be a good time to face them, but there were signs last night that they're getting back to form after a bad run. Also got to factor in that we'll most likely be without our best player and main striker.

Mentioned it last night in the match thread about Spurs having a weird mental block about playing Liverpool, and we're the same (at Anfield, at least). Not sure how much of that is down to the fans, but hopefully playing in an empty stadium will ease some of the pressure and work to our advantage. Still can't see us winning there though!

If we were ever going to beat them at Anfield surely this time is it

No fans and their best midfielders are playing in defence

Reckon Aguero will be fit but on the bench

Don't get carried away over last night, spurs were not great.
Two of the goals the dippers scored were absolute shocking defending ( can't remember the other one) and Kane going off was the end of any real threat.
All in all it went the way I expected and if the defender's had been more positive it would have been a draw - but that's football.

I don't think Liverpool have been that bad it's just that this season all their luck ran out for a few games, that's regarding injuries, var calls and chances that normally went in hitting posts and defenders. After three high energy seasons their pace dropped off a bit not unlike ourselves.

I'm pleased we managed to get some points in the bag over them during this spell as they will come back.

As will their annoying fucking posters on here..
A few bad results and the fuckers vanish like a fart in a hurricane

Luck run out, injuries, VAR calls not quite going their way? I'm more inclined to believe the PED article that was posted a few days ago on the Drugs thread ie you can't keep a squad on a high for more than 2 years due to burn out. Interesting that more than a third of the squad are allegedly asthmatic and need the inhalers. Could be Leicester have got a second wind and are going again? and dare i say ourselves ? although we tend to do it through squad changes

I'm sure it's around 70%. Weird considering it's such a high cardio sport but there's something to do with athletes constantly breathing dry air. Anyway, they hacked our scouting system so I wouldn't put it past them.
