I would like to know the % of blues on here that go/have gone to games and compare it to the plankton over on rawk.... any guesses?
Can you please explain that last para about FFP and Utd. Its too early for me to understandtbh I think we've lost the war to lfc. Sure we've won record titles and cups, broken recordfs all the way through but from what I see lfc are the new Utd with the media support and nothing will stop that gravy train.
Sure we'll be allowed to be the Arsenal/Chelsea to Utds but I think if we get too big again we're going to get as much shit as we've had the for the last 4 years
It's been an education, I can now see how teams like lfc, utd, barca, juve stay top. Massive media support and massive clickbait keeps them there if they're good enough... No other teams stand a chance really
But we'll see, City have a massive financial backing, and just like the media push for the clickbait clubs to be top we can disrupt that with just spending.
On a separate note... Can someone answer this - Why are City accused of being bankrolled by a country and having the resources of the Middle East, but FFP actually dictates that we CVANNOT spend more than Utd???! Seems odd to me that no fucker in the media has highlighted this, unless I am missing something :?
I can remember, years ago, in a derby,What new rule?
It hits the top of his forearm or the cuff of his shirt sleeve. It's nowhere near his shoulder. He controls it, it lands, he scores.
I can remember, years ago, in a derby,
when the ball bounced up and scarcely touched Anelka's black gloved hand.
City scored and it would have been the winning goal on the day, but was disallowed for the handball, even though Anelka gained no advantage from the contact.
Still rankles...
At Old Trafford just after Goater had scored? I was in the away end and after so many miserable experiences there, thought we'd won it. Normally, I'm one of those that spot an offside flag or a ref disallowing the goal whilst others celebrate but that day, I completely lost the plot. Red twats.I can remember, years ago, in a derby,

You're right of course, but there's a question in there. And it's a huge one. How have they been able to maintain that high speed, high pressing game, match after match, month after month? They did it all last season. And the season before, as a matter of fact. For two entire seasons, with no let up, unless you count the matches they lost once they'd won the title at the tail end of last season. And stone me, they're doing it this season. We did it, but we can't maintain it. How is it done? Mysterious…

Really good post. It has indeed been an education. Unfortunately, some of the lads I work with are Liverpool fans from East Yorkshire and due to them being the very people who this media bias is for, they'll never see what we see.tbh I think we've lost the war to lfc. Unfortunately we'll never get the truth from these pundits. They've sold their soul to the media narrative which is: everything the dippers and rags do is perfect and honorable and everything Manchester City do is tainted and ruined.I await the first pundit on MOTD to day "You know what, one way to stop Liverpool might be to rough up some of their players. Ramos showed that Salah doesn't like the physical stuff and Robertson, Arnold, Mane seem to get an easy ride from opposition players."
When we were dominating that's what some pundits suggested and over the next couple of months there were about a dozen bad tackles on our players. It's as if the opposition have been warned pre match that one strong tackle against the dippers and it's early bath time. The fact that they have put out almost the same eleven for three seasons, seems to suggest the opposition are going easy on them.
...you're just being plain daft now.The wonderful dipper humour strikes again, let's see how funny you find it in the unlikely event of it happening against the Dippers...when it really matters that is....
unfortunately, the fact that he's plying his trade on Merseyside means that he'll have come into contact with very few littlewoods fans, if any at all.Fuck that. I hope he infected the team
this... except I am from Manchester, and its biggest problem is that it's too close to that cesspit. No, mate, most of us are not at all offended by the team. It's a bloody good one. You were favoured by VAR in the early part of last season, but not to the tune of 18 points or even close to it. Anybody saying the contrary is living in cloud cuckoo land. You were by far and away the best team. The table does not lie.
No, it's getting your supporters' coach bricked that offends me. It's getting your players' coach trashed (and no-one whatsoever arrested by Merseyside police). It's phrases like "This means more" which is symptomatic of a level of arrogance that even our quiet neighbours the rags don't quite aspire to. It's the hysterical cult-like tone that is required on RAWK, and the likes of which I honestly do not see on any other forum. It's the (mainly justified) anger about Hillsborough, and the deafening silence about Heysel that offends me. And above all, it is the unrelenting, astonishing fawning by the media which, surprise, surprise, is made up of a disproportionate number of former Liverpool players, at least on television, some of whom have never said an interesting thing about football in their lives, despite having known how to play it.
Not being Manchester born and bred, I have nothing against the town of Liverpool. I even used to quite like going over there, many years ago. I like the jokes about scousers, but that's just banter.
It's not your team that poses a problem for many supporters up and down the country. Not just City fans. It's your club, and its perceived attitude.
And Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb. They are going to win the league with Robbo, Mo and Arnie.
Don't forget Captain FlackAnd Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb.
... are you Northern Irish or scouse?Don't forget Captain Flack
What is this shit
From the Wirral...and my old man when growing up always used to give me a clip round the ear (when parents could get away with that) if ever I spoke with a scouse accent.... are you Northern Irish or scouse?
I hear you speaking that post sounding just like Nigel Blackwell... not that he's scouse, coming from the Wirral... supports his local team too...
