Yes; that is hard on the bloke. And not being able to attend the funeral must have been a devastating blow to him. Don't forget, though; Pep had a similar blow last year.

Be wonderful if they finished out of the top 4. The owners aren't going to be pumping money in, the squad is ageing and a few of the better ones are going to want away. I think they could struggle for a while.

Would like them in the Europa League though, no European football at all would give them a big advantage next season
