Just to let you know a couple of things to cause amusement.....

1. You are again mentioned on their thread - one of the workshy linked page 30 from this thread in which you listed their core characteristics
They love me on there. Not a week goes by when someone isn't pleading with me to go back.

Christ almighty... look at the state of this bellend on rawk...

There's no chance on earth that I'm clicking on that link. I went on that website once a while back. I read 5 posts and lost more IQ points than I did that time I accidentally watched 10 minutes of a TV program that had Noel Edmond's in it.

Christ knows what affect it must have if you register and actually post on it.

...so the visit to BM made you so thick you decided to create a new use for an apostrophy where none was previously required? What a fucking victim!

How do you accidently watch a tv programme for ten minutes?

I'm not saying Liverpool supporters are thick or owt, but there used to be one local to me that I'd see in the boozer every now and then.
Last time I was talking to him he was telling me how he'd just stolen 2 pictures, one worth £850,000 and another worth £1.4 million.
I was somewhat disbelieving, so he offered to show me them because they were in the boot of his car.
He opened the boot, and all I could say was 'you robbed an estate agents'.

So we're linking RAWK and they're linking Blue Moon?

The two website admins are obviously in cahoots.

As this is a new thread I'm going to repeat my post from July about how accurate it is to describe them as a cult.
Some of the behaviours associated with cults include:
  • Unquestioned trust in the leadership, who are seen as special individuals with unusual, almost god-like powers. (Klopp, Henderson, "Bobby" Firmino)
  • Exclusivity, where they believe they are somehow superior and set apart from others. ("This Means More", the Liverpool family, the only "pure" club).
  • A persecution complex, where anyone offering criticism, however objective, is seen as "the enemy" and the criticism is seen as an attack on the whole cult. (The Sun, over its reporting of Hillsborough, that Express journo they got sacked for criticising them).
  • Indoctrination, where everyone unquestioningly accepts the "truth", which is their version of reality. ("European royalty")
  • Cognitive dissonance, where they hold illogical and/or ludicrous beliefs. (So when they boo the opposition it's good but when we boo them, we're small time. Their money is "good" whereas ours is "bad").
  • Shunning/exile for those who deviate from the group beliefs. (Any journalist who dares criticise them)
  • Maintaining a common appearance. (Full kit wankers, who are invariably Liverpool fans)
  • Disdain for outsiders, who don't share their beliefs (RAWK on us, Everton or the rags)
  • An unshakeable belief that salvation will come ("Next year is our year")
  • Having special knowledge ("Liverpool fans are the most knowledgeable").
It's a scarily accurate picture of them isn't it?

Very accurate post. I would like to add that they also think their political views are facts and not opinions (too quick to call everyone tory c***s when they have no idea which party people follow). I found the whole booing the national anthem very pathetic as well. Yes, we boo the CL anthem and for good reason, but the way they boo the national anthem and don't consider themselves english is just so embarrassing. Everton fans don't behave like this, why do they behave like this?

They always have to make it all about them, have all the attention on them. They always have to be different than everyone else and if you also notice, everytime a scouser comes to Manchester, they could be chatting in a normal scouse accent to their mates or work colleagues, but as soon as someone walks past that isn't a scouser, they always seem to crank up the scouse accent and show off as if it is something to be proud of. Not all scousers might i add, but particularly the "this means more" brigade that have this strange, delusional superiority complex.

And then they wonder why nobody likes them. Funny thing is, my manager who is a Man Utd fan shares exactly the same opinion. As much as I detest Manchester United and they will always be my number 1 rival above Liverpool, i do find their fans more bearable than the dippers. They have to be by far the most obnoxious, deluded, petulant group of fans i have ever come across. By far the worst in football. As people have said many times... it really is a cult.

Can't we just build a wall around them Donald Trump style? After all, they're Scouse, not English. Let them fend for themselves.

Do the rawk posters have much to say about the extent of the faviurable blanket coverage of united put out over the past week by the BBC? Whilst forgetting the proramme about the 30 year crawl yobthe title of course.

State of these muppets...

Does the Liverpool Echo ever not talk about Ickle Lickle City?

They really are obsessed with us aren't they? They talk about Ickle City, the club that they apparently don't care about more than their own "european royalty" club.

Very, very strange.

Fucking needy cunts.

Has anybody called them SCOUSE CNUTS yet?

Anyway, after boredom set yesterday I dipped my toe in the murky waters of RAWK. Very strange place!

So many "animal farm sheep" on there who flip-flop their opinions and their reasoning depending on which team (us or them mainly) that they're talking about.

What I did find strange is that they, almost to a man, sing (practically word for word) from the same hymn sheet on every topic I dared to read their views on. Was actually surprised to not find a thread entitled "ONE OF US" where each member just posted those three words over and over again.

Now I know all football fans are a little bit one-eyed and we're all fairly partisan, but that lot are just weird. Won't be going back again any time soon.

They have to be sheep

Anyone who questions anything is banned

That is how the cult works

I spoke to my surgeon yesterday on a follow up appointment. He is a liverpool and England rugby union fan. His sporting instincts have made him view much of the strange things happening in the PL with concern and it's taken the shine off the title for him. First time in two major ops and about 20 outpatient appointments we have been in complete agreement.
Not everyone is a cultist - some open their eyes and see the light.
