Here is the guy moaning about Everton's pitch invasion and how dangerous it was. Here he is clearly enjoying a pitch invasion at Mainz.

Liverpool never do pitch invasions by the way!

They push walls over, jump gates, drop concrete slabs on some poor waiters head. Crowd and start rocking an ambulance with a player with a broken leg inside it, vandalise team coaches, anything else I’ve not included?

Fountain pushing, wanking in public and setting fire to the liver building (after they won) weird cunts.

Lots more. But according to them Everton fans have brought shame on the city ha ha

Both were avoidable tragedies but (imo) with very different root causes. One their supporters demonstrably caused, the other they didn’t. The ticketless fans line is as much of a red herring as the crumbling stadium one. Lies propagated by the people that caused each tragedy to deflect blame.

They should own their mistakes, to the same extent as they want others to own theirs.
Spot on. I wasnt there but as a Liverpool supporter I have to accept what happened. Irrespective of anything else around the circumstances and situation, the fact is that without there being people/Liverpool supporters present, charging fences and instilling fear in those across the chicken wire...then it wouldnt have happened. Remove the people, it simply doesnt happen.
It will always be there and can never be removed, not should it.

That said, I find it sad, that it gets ramped up into such a polarising issue these days, or perhaps every year at this time. I guess in part that once again its the media, or social media that fans the flames. You get those on (my) side who fail to acknowledge and "own it" who by their actions incite the hostility and astonishment from other clubs fans.

the only thing I do find odd or perhaps a little hypocritical is the complete blame for the English ban, or perhaps the failure to "own it" by some fans (and yes I appreciate that this will be a small proportion amongst those who were adversely impacted). Yes Heysel was the straw that broke UEFAs back and it was the darkest day for Liverpool and English football, but it was a culmination of fans/hooligans and culture of many clubs for years before. It was the few from many clubs that chipped away at UEFAs patience but those supporters/thugs/idiots on that day that broke the patience.
...but then thats just my view.

As for any intended celebration on 29th (just for the cup wins I suspect it will be) I agree it is poor "optics". 1 day after the final or 1 week after the final? In order to show a degree of empathy and respect then no reason why the following weekend could not be used, especially as there may be many a fan coming back from Paris who doesnt make it back in time.

...and so on to today...I would say good luck, but i wouldnt mean it.
personally, Im not holding out much hope, but then you never know...after all, at 93.10 I think most of you lot just had hope!

Fucking animals.
This despicable club and its rancid, shameless, hypocritical fanbase should never, ever be allowed to forget this outrage, no matter how hard they try to airbrush it from history.
It is a Mark of Cain they will carry forever, yet they still have the brass necked gall to declare themselves “European Royalty”.
What, like Attila the Hun?
That they are planning a party on the anniversary of the day their fans committed mass murder is mind boggling, tone deaf and utterly shameless
There's a video on YouTube with Tony Evans explaining why he boos the anthem. Full of self pity and whinges on about how the rest of the country hates scousers, while claiming scouser is a derogatory term that only another scouser would get away with calling him. I never thought he could crawl even lower in my estimation, but he's managed it.
