Klopp is actually really unfortunate to be directly competing with a machine-like City for the PL title. There is a real danger of history underrating him for his work at Liverpool in case he leaves with just 1 PL title (same as Leicester) and 1 CL title despite commanding the best Liverpool side of the last 30 years. If he loses the CL final, I wonder how many of his players will respond to his high intensity football next season. Mental exhaustion and demotivation could see his slide slip like Dortmund in his final season.

Its like how Ferguson is criticized for 'only' 2 CLs (same number as Guardiola/Mourinho) but no context is given in terms of having to overcome the aftermath of Heysel in the 90s and losing finals to arguably the 'greatest-ever' team twice.
Did you not mean to post that cult like nonsense on Rawk? This is a City forum. Klopp is a *1 covid league winning manager. Nothing else, nothing more. The greatest team in the history of football are nothing but runners up to a superior club. Did you go from supporting the rags to the dippers recently or did you always have both kits just in case?

Finishing second is a great achievement for Liverpool. It does not happen often but you are witnessing the greatest team & manager in premier league history. Pep & City just in case you are still in cult mode.

Next time why don’t you just stay off the internet for awhile when we win. I’m sure football is not important now anyway.

Di matteo also has a champions league winner’s medal.I will leave you to think on that.

The guy is right. He actually admits the city is basically ‘ Irish ‘ at heart.
Explains the booing of the national anthem, the hatred towards the rest of England and a city like no other mentality. They genuinely believe Thatcher only shut down factories and industry in Liverpool and nowhere else. They love to portray themselves as victims and over time they are getting worse and worse.
Offended by everything, ashamed of nothing. No wonder English football fans despise them.
What’s especially noteworthy about their attitude to Thatcher, or more specifically their sense of victimhood in that regard, is that long-term, there were discernibly far more severe victims of Thatcherism. As a city, Liverpool did ok out of Thatcherism, certainly compared to (for example) mining towns and villages in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire which have far higher prevailing levels of unemployment, drug addiction, poverty and deprivation as a direct result of her policies than Liverpool.

In the end, Liverpool did ok (relatively speaking) out of Thatcherism, and unlike the other places I referred to (and many I didn’t across the nation) has reinvented itself with some success.

It’s yet another example of that inveterate notion running through people associated with that club that everything that relates to them is bigger, greater or better than everywhere else, whereas in reality is demonstrably isn’t.

Fucking pitifully insecure cunts.

They are so jealous of our success; totally blinkered and believe all the crap that is published in the media. And they are scared that we will be globally bigger than them not only because of our success in winning trophies but the way we play the game. Also they ignore the fact that their club 'cheat' the drug testing regime by them claiming that asthma is rampant in the Anfield setup.
Its important to understand they are not obsessed with us and the rags remain their biggest game of the season

Can you imagine the outrage in the media if City fans had committed the Heysel disaster and the club commemorated it by having a parade on it's anniversary to show off the Carabao/FA Cup? Understandably so.

Not a whisper about the bin dippers though - still the plucky, underdog media darlings with their "net spend" award and "no penalties conceded in over a year so they must be angels" medal.
