Also, I don't think Johnson is really that arsed about football, he only started following it last year when England were doing well.

The socialism thing is utter horse shite. They're sponsored by Standard Chartered, one of the dodgiest capitalist enterprises in the world. I know our owner is a bit ropey, it's because he's really fucking rich. You can't be that rich without being a bit ropey so the pious scouse socialist bit can sniff my hairy tits.

Remember their big "against modern football" thing a few years back. Always made me laugh. The thing about modern football they didn't like was they weren't winning everything.

Anyway two posts in two days have given me a headache.

Liverpools fans narrative has changed
They’re now pointing to wages paid for new signings rather than the fee
One fan of theirs was arguing with me today about Haaland and De Bruynes wages compared to some of their players
I pointed out that they’ve lost the net spend cup they’ve gone on about for years after spending £85m on a striker with city paying 34m less for a better striker

He couldn’t take it
Apparently Nunez was 60m and Haaland 85m

I had one today telling me that the fee for Nunez was effectively 60m euros?!

I tried pointed out that he was talking shit and told him that it's 64.2m QUID upfront with an extra 4.3m after 10 matches (so 68.5m QUID) and another 8.6m quid after 60 matches (so 77.1m QUID) with another 8.6m for meeting "unknown targets".

He was having none of it and started going on about empty seats.

They're fucking unbearable! You simply can't have a sensible/serious conversation with any of them about football.

Or maybe they all believe the Liverpool propaganda spun from the media

You can be sure if the tables were turned and we’d signed Nunez and they got Haaland there’d be a lot more made of the transfer fees
They’d have Nunez reported as £150m

Maybe it was, unlucky for you if it was 'cause the bloke I was speaking to was a total sneering prick.

In response to his Emptyhad 'jokes' I sent him a link to a website that listed the average attendances of all premier league clubs year by year to 'educate him', and his response was that he didn't believe ANY stats about our club as we lie about everything and he KNEW that we NEVER filled our stadium.

Minutes later he sent me a link about shirt sales stats saying "Look at these, you don't even sell that many shirts so you can't have that many fans", didn't have the heart to point our where he thought our shirt sale stats came from.

I think he might've been a clinical moron.
 
Love the fact that the rawk cult crew accuse us of paying players off the book etc. Well if we do it, not only where is the proof, but where is the proof that you don't.

Let's be honest lfc fans, if it comes to illicit off the book payments and the movement of funds into dodgy regimes, I'm sure your shirt sponsors could teach us a thing or two.

Perhaps that's the mistake we are making. If we get standard chartered to deal with all our financials, not only will everything be above board, our transactions will not be questioned!

With their sponsors, the media, and the lfc propoganda machine by the time the season starts Benfica will owe them 30 million for the Nunez transfer.
