FSG want to sell Salah whilst his price is high and replace him with Bellingham. It is a Scouse ITK so I would take it with a mountain of salt.

Would piss myself if that occurs though.
Haaland in for us
Salah out for the dippers
whatever mess united make of the manager choice

Could be a hell of a Berting summer coming up...

As I suggested before, fans that have lost out to Liverpool cancelling the original fixture at the last moment (eg non refundable train tickets and hotel bookings etc) need to jointly sue Liverpool AND whoever the company conducting and/or processing the PCR results was.

One (or both) entities are clearly responsible for the negligence that resulted in this implicitly unnecessary postponement. It doesn’t matter which one at this juncture, one of them is.

It is perfectly normal to jointly sue two organisations simultaneously for an incurred loss: eg when you buy something online that doesn’t arrive on time - and both the manufacturer and courier blame each other.

If you take them to court the judge can rule in your favour and demand that the other two parties sort out payment of compensation awarded to you between themselves.

Get to it Tarquins, think of all those lovely hazelnut lattes you could buy!

The press and tv companies could do the same if they had any kind of moral compass. Or are clicks and plastic scouse subscribers’ feelings more important to them than public confidence in the importance and validity of positive Covid tests?

I think we know the answer, sadly.

If the company that processed the PCR tests that resulted in 40 false positives gets wind such an action is forthcoming (and those that lost out demanding that the lab be named so they file a joint claim) they are surely likely to deny any culpability to ward off potentially catastrophic reputational damage.

That of course is presuming said lab was not the culpable party.

In such a case … over to you Jurgen.

* In the Daily Mail story linked a few posts ago Jurgen has now said that the initial (false positive) tests “were PCR tests by the way”. The article quotes him in yesterday’s press conference (Wednesday).

We have indeed fucked them up - what I see a lot of is their need to delude and lie to themselves about the reality of things now and in the past......

There is post after post where they seek to say how CITY fans must feel - and how 'deep down' we are not enjoying this.

This exchange made be proper chuckle - the deluded fuckers:

Spot on. There's no way it can possibly mean that much to them anymore. I mean, I'm sure winning the title in 2012 was great for their fans, especially with the way it happened and getting to steal it from under their city rivals' noses. But there's absolutely no chance most of their fanbase (the ones who aren't thick children at least) aren't aware on some level of how meaningless it all is now. Its like completing the video game on cheat mode - yeah it was fun to see the whole thing and get to watch the end sequence (showing my 'legacy fan' age there), but it's empty and you don't feel like there's any meaning in doing it again and again. Deep down the vast majority of City fans know that they've earned nothing and that without the cheat codes they'd be absolutely nowhere. It's why they're one of the most prickly and defensive fanbases going now.

It's why I hope we never go down the same road of having oligarch or nation state ownership. Even if it meant we could compete on a level playing field with the likes of City, ultimately it would render everything that happens just that bit less meaningful. 'This Means More' is a bullshit slogan, but it genuinely does mean far more when you win the big prizes the right way, especially when you've beaten cheats to do it. I'll take not winning if I can feel that we're at least a real club, instead of a gaudy, undignified propaganda vehicle for horrendous people.

Just think - a couple of fellas have taken the time to type that shit and delude themselves that it is true ;-)

The bit I highlighted shows the reality - they are simply deluded and entitled fuckers that just want to have things back to the way they were in the 70s and 80s

I just hope that I am still around to see them become pretty much irrelevant - with CITY being the club with the global fanbase - which will happen in this world of comprehensive media coverage

The daft thing is, we do spend millions every summer. I had this argument with a Spurs fan. Yes, we do spend millions every year, we also recoup millions. We sell any player not needed or not wanting to be there.

In Spurs’ case, I said there’s no way the likes of Dier, Alli or Sanchez would still be at City. We’d have sold them on and reinvested.
Same at Liverpool. No way Shaquiri does 3 years, no way Origi is still here, Milner, Kieta, Oxlaide Chambeelain.
Same at United Lindlehof, Lingard, Fred, Matic, Mata, Jones, they’d have been shipped out and replaced by 2/3 useful players. Imagine how much Everton or Newcastle would give them for McTominay.

Arteta is getting there with Arsenal, he will just shift the deadwood. Whether he replaces it well, that’s a different matter.

Can you imagine any of United, Spurs, Liverpool allowing their record scorer leave at just 32 for free with no replacement? Me neither. As hard as it is, Aguero going was essential to freshen the squad. Kompany before him.

Wow, 40 false positive PCR tests. I think the initial thoughts were that it was around 15 LFT false positives but Klipperty has now confirmed them to be PCR tests. What are the odds of that? PCR tests are less likely than an LFT to produce a false positive so the chances of 40 in the same group can only mean that either the tests were faulty, were carried out wrong or the the results were manipulated. Surely the manufacturer would want to investigate to ensure that their product wasn't faulty.
"The chances of any truth coming from them are a million to one they said......."

Don’t even operate in the same area of a football pitch.

How would one replace the other?
