Yep bang on the money with that comment
Once they get a few injuries and cup competitions kick in I expect similar sob stories to last year
Won’t be as big a collapsible as the fans at anfield will help
Saturdays game with Chelsea is already huge
Apparently they had two thousand tickets on general sale that they couldn't shift, even for a big London derby. You can't blame people for giving it a miss but it's annoying that we are the only club that the media and lifelong Twitter plastics constantly take digs at.Yeah, saw a lot of empty seats at Arsenal yesterday too. It's ridiculous for anyone to criticise fans for not showing up when so many will have lost their jobs too. Particularly ironic when you see people who weren't at a game criticising other people who weren't at a game for not going to the game.
It's 2 grand for a season ticket at Arsenal. Who can afford that in the middle of a pandemic/Brexit double hit to the economy?
I suspect the London clubs will also suffer from the lack of tourists which used to help them a lot. There are not many overseas visitors compared to pre-pandemic. I despise the plastic fan boys who never attend matches but dig-out clubs for empty seats. I have more in common with match-going fans at Arsenal, Spurs, and even United than those twats on Twitter. All PL clubs have plenty of hard-core fans who have followed them through hard times. Another issue is that Arsenal's ticket prices are outrageous. Us "legacy" fans from all clubs should stick together. We are a dying breed.Apparently they had two thousand tickets on general sale that they couldn't shift, even for a big London derby. And like all their other new contracts in the last few month, not a note anywhere on wages unlike reporting on us ie StonesAndy Robertson has signed a new contract for them. Advertising boards across England are quivering with fear.
You are as subtle as a fucking brickI am usually impressed with the quality of put downs, insults etc on this forum. As I have said in the past, it is the main reason I remain here...as well as to occasionally "talk football".
Your initial comment I completely agree with and you are spot on......you have indeed posted a picture of empty seats that you dont see on TV.
However, I do think that you need to maybe qualify your addition to the attachment. "Half full v Burnley"...do we know when the picture was taken? What site did you copy it from? Did you actually mean to say "one stand half full"?
Or are you just using "half full" in a very loose term?
I personally thought that there were quite a few more than 26,687 present.
If not I am surprised that nobody is calling in HMRC over false declarations of income due to statements as to actual attendance which I think yesterday they stated as 53,394
Thanks for caring about Liverpool enough to mock them. I was getting a little worried as the trafford borough lot appear to be getting alot more posts than the dippers so far this year
I must apologise for that. I do honestly try and avoid any kind of WUMMERY. In that instant though, I just couldn't stop myself due to the obvious nature of the pic involved. You are as subtle as a fucking brick
...And apologies to you also, I must cease using Littlewoods/Greiverpool/Dippers in any posts.Refers to his beloved Grieverpool as Dippers, the dopey bell wipe
