France striker Kylian Mbappe, 23, is believed to have had his head turned when it comes to moving to Liverpool after being underwhelmed by Real Madrid's display during their Champions League match with Paris St-Germain. (Sport, via Star)

Can’t blame the lad. He’s heard a move to the dippers will automatically make him best striker in the world -lah
They don't spend money though, only City do that.

Net spend champs

Is it me or do they have some of the most dislikeable characters that have ever played football. I don’t know if I’m being irrational but I just detest some of them.

I used to quite like some of their players from years past. John scales. Emile Heskey. Bjorneby. Reina. Fowler. All seemed decent lads. This mob. Not so much.
Never really noticed that about the dippers, but then again I'd rather not notice anything about them.
But for me, the worst for that are definitely the rags. Every single one of them for about the last 6 decades I've wanted to punch fuck out of them. Fucking despised the comb-over king, the liver thief and crerand from that period, but miraculously I've managed to find that since the 60's every player who pulls on a rag shirt becomes instantly dislikable to the point that I want to take a baseball bat to each of them.
Right up until today they still have the most detestable players known to mankind: from that buck-toothed, diving, cheating penandez to the Portuguese ponce himself, the hairstyle king, slabhead, and of course the worst of them all: the pisscan.

Yep, the dippers have a few I'd like to make eat a barbed-wire sandwich, but it's definitely the rags who have the most - for me, anyway.

Sweeping generalisation but in a previous job used to meet people for appointments in the office. Of the ones from Merseyside, generally those who were blues were older, much more mature could have a good conversation about City. They'd say City fans deserved any potential success after all the shit we'd put up with, particularly in the 90s.

The red scousers alas were younger, cocky and to a man utter bellends. I pretty soon learnt not to 'talk footie' with these prats.

Surprisingly the stretford fans were mostly good natured. City fans recognised a fellow sufferer and we had a good laugh dreaming about winning the odd cup of we were lucky!

I've generally found scousers to be alright, maybe talk football with caution! Wouldn't trust 'em with me hubcaps, mind ;-)

A lad (united fan) I do some work for has lived there for a good 7-8 years, he s actually really enjoyed living there (Sefton Park so quite nice) but always says “NEVER EVER talk football to them, especially the red dippers, it never ever ends well”.

You're right it's the likes of carragher. I happened to watch or part watch that show The Overlap he was on with Neville. He just ruined it, constant bickering with the Everton fan that was trying to have a discussion, the City fan too. He's got one serious anger issue, it wouldn't take much for him to tip over the edge. Then again he did didn't he, he spat at a child. Scouse bastard.

Theyve always had total cunts playing for them.
“Aldo”
“Thommo”
“Carra”
“Brucey”
To name a few

He always sounds like he got to much saliva in his mouth when doing any analysis.
Forever sucking up just before he speaks.
But maybe this could just coincide with Gary Neville having an empty ball sack at the same time

When having a rare discussion about football with a Dipper or Rag scroat i now set my watch , and see how many seconds it takes to mention "six times" or if its a Rag "20 times" , they all go into default mode and want to talk about their 'istree , because they know 100% they cannot compete with our current achievements.
The record was a Dipper family member who mentioned "european royalty" after thirty seconds , my retort was their are 39 heartbroken Italian families who beg to differ.
They just dont like it up 'em.
