If Liverpool could win the trophies we have won over the last ten years, and spend £500m in the process, then as sure as fuckin' Liver birds lay eggs, they would do! And then the spend would immediately be regarded as an 'investment'!

No way the EFL would kick the victims out. They have already sold the TV rights to Scandinavia, Thailand, China, Eire etc. Poor old Orient were a commercial irrelevance.

but the rules are their 5.1 if a team can not field a team you would be kicked out ?
Orient may have a legal case here because they can say well covid-19 stop us fielding a team and we was kicked out

the premier league games in hand are one thing but cup games are another ? the midweek fixture list will be packed from end of jan early feb because a international break is also penned in late jan

now here is the rub ? will the premier league demand international players from there teams go and play for there countries in meaningless games because of covid-19 and a fixture back log ? i have a feeling that international break will be scrapped and the 2 weeks will be use to play the games
