Your post just reminded me of a video I saw a long time ago. An Eagle was feasting on a carcass. Some crows arrived to join the feast and tried to intimidate the Eagle, one or two even snapped at the Eagle. The Eagle held it's head high and didn't lower itself to the level of the crows. The Eagle knew full well it could rip them all to shreds whenever it felt like it. Much like the scene from The Lion King with Mufasa and the hyenas.
Or Bernie in the guard of dis-honour

Who would want City to beat Liverpool to the title? For a start fans of the below:

Everton x4
U****d x3
Spurs x3
Southampton
Norwich x3
West Ham
Sheff Weds
Oxford
Coventry
Arsenal x2
Wimbledon
Forest x2
Luton
Derby

All of the above missed out on European Football due to the European ban, add to that clubs that missed out on English clubs return due to the limit imposed (which I think included us for finishing 5th in 91/92 season).
I can add my Swindon Town mate to that, and it might be the first time a Town fan and an Oxford fan are pulling in the same direction!

Confident that two weeks today we will know who is the world's greatest team, world greatest goalkeeper, world's greatest defenders, world's greatest midfielders, world's greatest attack and even more deserving world's greatest manager is.
It won't be those cnts.
Won't come soon enough

I remember that derby in 2012 when we beat the rags one nil and before the game I knew we would win. I have the same feeling about this game on Sunday and the semi final.
