anyway, onto the game. Don’t see how United can get anything. They aren’t playing for their manager, aren’t working, it’s not as if they can sit back and rely on a strong defence, I don’t know how they play it at all and get anything other than a good beating.
They’re clueless in games against big sides.
Their only hope is Liverpool might be tired, but they’ve a big squad who they can rotate and still win comfortably for me

2/5 to win tonight which is very annoying. I need to cover my emotional anger with money and tonight is a foregone conclusion. Fucking united are so shit they can't even get this to 8/13.

They are the worst. I know loads of lads who years ago couldn't have give 2 s***s about footy and now they all claim to be lifelong diehards. Funny what winning a few big trophies does to people.

They're awful and I've had to think of my "happy place" a few times. I posted a few pages back about a twat I met at a party the other night. He looked like Jimmy Somerville on steroids and if they win the quadruple there is a good chance I will strangle him whilst listening to the Communards.

Its actually very interesting seeing views on the fanbase. For my part, one visit to RAWK is enough to be beyond embarrassed about some of the views, but mentally you try and relegate that to the 'every club has those type of fans' box.

Several of my closed friends are Man city loyalists, and I know several others, and I've never had any issues. Probably helps that you can actually have an intelligent discussion about football with them.

From a Liverpool standpoint, perhaps controversial but I actually fully acknowledge that city are the better pure footballing side (depending on what your footballing taste is). I don't necessarily agree that they are the better team, but obviously these things are pretty subjective.

But on the current thread topic - yep, there are some awful supporters out there. I trust the better ones aren't in the minority, but we do exist! ;)

I grew up being the only Liverpool supporter , my best friends were Tottenham, Aston Villa and Man U supporters. I think that gives a bit of perspective to things.

I have no problem admitting that city has a higher, more consistent quality.

I think that now when many young fans grow up, the cultish behaviour is being installed in to everyone, even though they're growing up in the remote prat of Sweden (like I did). Rawk and internet forums bring out the worst in humanity

Young or old. The club is cult through and through. Seen fellas in their 50s acting like feral rats at Goodison
