I can see where they think these things.

On the first one, it’s like Craig Bellamy; when he plays for you, you wonder how any other set of fans can dislike him, when he doesn’t play for you you hate him. So I can see why they love Klopp and see him above anyone else and why they don’t understand how everyone else hates him.

Liverpool games can be more exciting than a lot of City games. It’s not that Liverpool are better to watch, it’s just that teams play more like Everton did today, against City, than teams generally do against Liverpool. Teams sit back more against City, teams waste time more against City, teams adventure forward less against City… Liverpool lose possession more freely than City do because they play longer passes that aren’t as successful are City’s shorter passing game, as City keep the ball more than anyone else they are attacked less than anyone else, therefore our games can be less exciting as a contest than Liverpool’s games. You only have to see their games against West Ham and Watford where both away teams had loads of chances against Liverpool, whereas City take about six games to be attacked as much as Liverpool were in those two examples.

Liverpool fans are more emotional than City fans. They don’t have more passion, we’ve just been through more than them going up and down the leagues so can handle shit much better than they can. Liverpool think mid-table is a crisis and have no fucking idea whatsoever about what really supporting a football club through tough times really is. That’s why this happened when all that was happening was they were in the bottom half under Hodgson and thought their owners were shit:

They may have they support of the media and referees, but I think most fans of other clubs when pushed would prefer City to win the League.
