Most people died in one tunnel at Hillsborough. They were all funelled down that tunnel when the gates were opened (mistakenly). The pen at the end of the tunnel was packed but there was plenty of space in pens at the side so the stadium was not over full because of ticketless fans. There may have been a few without tickets but the disaster was a failure of crowd control.

And decades of knowing them, and centuries of living down the road from them. Plus their antics and history as supporters.
You seem intent on exonerating them very quickly given their reputation - a place on the next Public Inquiry awaits.

Uefa has issued a statement on the pre-match problems outside the stadium...
"In the lead-up to the game, the turnstiles at the Liverpool end became blocked by thousands fans who had purchased fake tickets which did not work in the turnstiles.
"This created a build-up of fans trying to get in. As a result, the kick-off was delayed by 35 minutes to allow as many fans as possible with genuine tickets to gain access.
"As numbers outside the stadium continued to build up after kick-off, the police dispersed them with tear gas and forced them away from the stadium.
"Uefa is sympathetic to those affected by these events and will further review these matters urgently together with the French police and authorities, and with the French Football Federation."

Could explain to us how you were able to see all gates around a circular stadium at the same time?

We get that you think that the police were mainly at fault last night. That’s fine, if that’s your belief.

What we are struggling to work out is how the dippers couldn’t get in, but Madrid could.

It seems it’s down to fake ticketing and the inability of ground staff to differentiate between them quickly enough.

Would you say that was Liverpool fans fault for creating and distributing fake tickets?

These are the same fans who had a 30+ year witch hunt looking for someone else to blame after Hillsborough, were responsible for 39 deaths and over 600 injured at Heysel, today of which is the anniversary.

All of this should be deeply rooted in their minds - they never hold back at the opportunity to tell you that Hillsborough is - yet they went anyway.

So fuck off and stop talking shite, one thing we do know is they're perfectly capable of defending themselves in the media and your rambling is getting a little boring and a little insulting now to all those victims and their families. As long as people like you keep defending them they will never learn and we'll have another tragedy.
