Where is the context of the lie for them losing the League by 1 point.
If they have 1 more point they still lose the league on goal difference.
It might seem trivial but it's yet more bullshit propagated by Liverpool, their fans and the media.

It's a pointless narrative that means nothing. Second is second whether it's by one point or one hundred points, you're second.

What gets me with Aldridge and the shit he spouts about the Dippers, he was only a player there for about 5 minutes. 673 league appearance, 83 for Dippers and was only there between 87-89. Played 170 for Newport, 114 Oxford, 243 Tranmere in context.

He is more famous for shouting at a fourth official in the World Cup than playing for Liverpool

I think I should say that Liverpool losing was absolutely fantastic but special mention should go out to Naby Keita for that truly unforgettable attempt on goal. If someone can do so, could they put it on here so we can all have another big belly laugh at the Dippers
