You know me, always take a positive...and from this we can focus on our fight against relegation
Do you agree with Klopp that today was an improved performance? It seemed to me that without the help of the match officials and var that you would have been facing an extremely heavy defeat, not to mention missing a number of players for a few games.

The likes of Fabinho and Thiago have been allowed to get away with atrocious challenges for years (take last seasons game at the Etihad as just one example). Today at least 2 clear and obvious reds, and VAR AGAIN just looks on, knowingly, corruptly. And because of that a young Brighton player left the ground on crutches, maybe a season ending injury. Well done PIGMOB, well done VAR, you utterly despicable cheating cunts

You forgot Robertson, the dirty shite.

Two good things to take from today - one, they got what they deserved and lost. Secondly, I think the correct focus on Fabinho's horrible foul may force the refs to be a bit more stringent and start punishing fouls more than they have been. This is what we need.

Sky Sports even highlights the farcical decisions — you know it is too obvious to be ignored when even they aren’t trying to bury it.

Klopp was eager to focus on the positives afterwards. The performance, he said, was "much better" than the one his side produced at the same ground two weeks ago. But the outcome was the same and in truth it could easily have been worse.

Kaoru Mitoma's winner came after two Liverpool players - Ibrahima Konate and Fabinho - somehow avoided red cards. Konate, already on a yellow, should have been off for his last-man barge on Alexis Mac Allister. Fabinho's lunge on Evan Ferguson was even uglier.
