Well, they can't blame Pep for that. When Palace beat them at home: “the air was too thick”.
If we lose today, we will finish the day in 18th place. Relegation threatens.Yeah, best not to gloat until we are safely two points ahead!
And is it me or was his ‘goal’ actually an own goal? To me it looked like he tried to flick it, barely connected with it, if at all, then it hit the defender behind him and went in. I am not sure how he’s been awarded it.
I think they'd have been more likely to win the CL final with him playing, but less likely to have ran us so close in the league. Like you say, he looks full of beans and like he could do anything, but just as likely to have a stinker or get a red card or miss a sitter trying to do something mad. Compare and contrast to the controlled discipline of Mane. Interesting one, though. He'd be a cult favourite where ever he played, though, that's for sure. Will be a load of fun to watch.Nunez looks full of emotion. He will either calm down and be a good signing or he will get mopey and stay an impact player off the bench. A lucky striker is better than a decent striker though and he will probably win them plenty of points and plaudits by running around like an excited puppy and trying crazy stuff. In that respect he suits Liverpool and he will always be fun to watch as he is likely to do something mad at any moment. I vote him most likely to knock himself out by running into a goal post
Diaz I'm hoping turns out to be a myth. Their left hand side is the most slappable in the league
Still plenty of shite. 'nunez inspired comeback' reported like they've won the league rather than nearly got battered by a championship side.I would rather that than unadultered shite we read and hear from the press otherwise.
