In the 5 years of ‘sharing’ the PL , Liverpool have net-spend (their previous favourite financial metric) over £150m more than City for those 5 years.



Anyone saying, that City have bought the league, when compared to the prolific bankrolling of 14 clubs with higher expenditure, is an myopic idiot.

If any team in the past 5/6 can be thought of buying the league, it will be Arsenal this year.

And as for united fans, I’d suggest you start blaming anyone but the Glazers, because they gave you plenty of money.

Their demise has nothing to do with money , our net spend is less than theirs over the last five seasons , they have bought forwards like Diaz , Gakpo , Nunez when it was obviously an ageing midfield that needed addressing.
Poor recruitment , the inability of a manager to improve players and one dimensional tactics are the obvious issues , they are now five transfer windows away from even returning to the top four because the Rags , Barcodes and Goons are much better.
Enjoy medicocrity again Dippers , you have had a couple of years in the sun, now crawl back under the rocks you came from.

The gurney has been there at least 7 years or more. Got them to CL finals, won one, one PL title and two cups on penalties. Vergil sharples had fk all to do with three defensive midfielders in front of him, arnold and robertson were effective as semi wingers putting repeated crosses in for their quick forwards to run onto.

But they've been found out and haven't been replaced. They haven't changed their style in klopps time and happily today second half had no answer to Pep's tactical tweaks. Funny how their signings are shit without our database?!

Will they be challenging for honours? Not without a major expensive rebuild and with new ideas in training. Don't think Bingo will be there next season, he has been a huge adversary, which makes our triumphs all the better.
