Listening to some of the snippets of Klopp's pre match press conference I was quite surprised he didn't come out with his usual can't compete with City jibe when commenting on Bellingham. The fact is as we all know he has spent a fair bit of money on players like Van Dijk, Becker, Nunez and Gakpo, but still plays the poor me we can't afford him.

But no one from the media dares to pick him up on it. Reminiscent of that bullying bastard when he was at the swamp with his 'no value in the market' comment. When for all those years his was the only club that could (and did) outspend every other club in the league every transfer window.

It appears that hypocrisy is acceptable if it comes from clubs who predominantly wear red.

Just been reading the comments on BBC about Klopp not being able to afford a Ferrari. Christ on a bike! It's not as if they signed Virgil rolls Royce van dijk and Nunez for big fees.
