Everything has to be about them and even today they will find a way of that happening.
There are plenty of good reasons for abolishing the monarchy but this is not one of them.
You mention France(probably the worst example you could make) who changed things 200+ years ago and the Palace of Versailles is one of their top tourist attractions.
Whatever anyone's take on the royals, they do interest tourists and it does bring in revenue, not that this is a justification for continuing to have them.
They're still making "enquiries" following events prior to the (late) Queens' coronation.I presume Merseyside police will be arresting all in Anfield under the new 'laws' they are enforcing in London, when they all boo the national anthem.
"And when I saw the Pope, he told me he said 'Fuck off' when they gave him that Martinez shirt but he loved the Alvarez one".
So how does France attract more tourists than the UK?There are plenty of good reasons for abolishing the monarchy but this is not one of them.

I use to go through France at least 3 times a year on my way to my home in Spain. Only stopped for fuel. Does that me a touristSo how does France attract more tourists than the UK?
Because people are allowed IN to the Palace of Versailles. Can you imagine how many more tourists the UK would get, and the extra revenue, if the monarchy was abolished and people were allowed to traipse through Buckingham Palace, Holyrood and Windsor? There are plenty of good reasons for abolishing the monarchy but this is not one of them.

Fuck the victim dippers today and every day.It would be nice if we could hold off on spouting the usual toxic bile about Liverpool supporters, and instead take a moment, this afternoon of 6th May 2023, to appreciate an truly momentous occasion which the world hasn't seen for generations:
In a country that has lost its mind, scousers will actually appear to be the most sane
One for the history books!
