I have heard some bollocks in my time but that takes the biscuit. Maybe he should ask Steve slippy Gerrard, a person revered in miseryside why he accepted an MBE. Why don’t Neverton boo it if it’s a scouse thing.

I've heard Everton fans talk some shite about the Monarchy, trust me. Some of the things they've come out with would make your hair curl.

Probably just too scared to do it in public? They do like to act like they have decorum but trust me, they don't. When we lived in Liverpool I worked as a steward for years at both grounds and decorum was lacking just as much at Goodison.

we boo the champs league anthem because its representative of UEFA a body we despise. Sorry but booing the anthem because you have the South of the country makes no sense at all. Are they of the opinion that the Royal Family failed to investigate Hillsborough? I am old enough to remember when in Manchester we were angry that "the South" in the form of Hesteltine post riots when we felt ignored. We didn't boo the anthem. I can understand the annoyance but I just don't get how the "fix" is to boo the National Anthem. Just ignore it - turn your backs if you must and try and be more creative about how a direct display of displeasure can be done.

How would your husband feel if every group of away fans made such a noise they drowned out YNWA?

Seen stuff on twitter today from blue noses backing them- from both sides its " we are Scouse not British/English"

Fair enough - withdraw from the PL and play each other 38 times a season home and away like some fucking Alderney v Sark league - see if UEFA sanction your league so you can get into the CL - given evolutionary time they could even get to use the 6 fingered goal keeping gloves
