Funnily enough, Real Madrid claim they are both. During the recent Barcelona Real Madrid tit-for-tat, Barcelona accused Real Madrid of being Franco's plaything, which is true as they won their first several European cups with a lackey of Franco's as their president. Real Madrid responded by that Real Madrid players fought and died for thesocialists against Franco, which is true, and that Barcelona was also Franco's plaything, which is also true. All the while, Real Madrid have 'real' moniker. Salah would fit in nicely there.
