Didn't know whether this should go here or the joke thread.

Klopp said a minute's silence is "the right thing to do" adding: "I don't think our people need any kind of advice from me for showing respect,"
They'll turn off the pitch-side microphones for it anyway, they'll look wonderful. As ever.

Fun fact: When United beat Southampton 9-0 it followed a dip in form, where they'd won just one of their previous four matches.

After the 9-0 win, they won just one of the next five.

I mean I don't want to jinx Liverpool's amazing turnaround of form, but...
Fun fact still very much on.

Literally just read that statement on the tv BBC footy pages.. there is so much wrong with what The Amazingly Dentate One said there that you wouldn't know where to begin unpicking it..

I remember being with my wife at Wembley a couple of years ago for the Community Shield game. Like me, no 'Royal' she but she was absolutely disgusted by the storm of booing of the National Anthem that came from the Scouse Filth's part of the stadium.. and the booing of Prince William too, there to represent the charity to which the event was linked. When she asked 'Why?', all I could say was 'Par for the course I'm afraid..'
They are the most disrepectful fans in football. It's only a week since they brought a Steau Bucnarest to Goodison to mock Everton fans about them missing out on Europe (Steau were the winners that first year of the ban) after English clubs were banned because LFC fans killed 39 men, women, and children at Heysel.
That latest incident was ignored by the English press but covered in Italy where it caused anger and upset bereaved famiies. Very respectful behaviour.

They forced families from there own homes so they could build a stand. You cannot get more disrespectful than that.
An open top bus parade on the anniversary of Heysel comes close but......

We could write a long list but using the deaths of 39 innocent Juventus fans as a weapon to mock their rivals is about as low as it gets.
