I wonder if City have just killed them.....

The fact that no matter how "great" they have been, City have been greater.
Whatever they do........ it's never enough....
We win the league two years running without a striker. And then watch us sign Haaland who scores 9 goals in less games.....
We have simply deflated that club.
And they know it.
And they know that City know it.
This is part of it, Klopp playing the same 11 game after game has left them mentally and physically shot
 
I'd say that team is coming to the end of its natural cycle. It happens to every successful team; Liverpool back in the 80s, Arsenal in the early 90s, Chelsea under Mourinho and utd under Ferguson. And we'd be naive to think it won't happen to us at well.
But hopefully we will have a good while yet before that happens.
