Why are they singing pro-IRA songs? Celtic, I get, but Liverpool? Was this just to annoy Rangers fans?
They don’t want to be English or British, they also flew Irish flags.

Their anti government crap and the aforementioned nonsense is quickly turning them into the English version of sectarian Celtic.

The good thing about English football as it doesn’t have any political shite in it… yet these lot are desperate to include it.

As quickly as they do it, the quickly they’ll become every team’s number one hated club, if they’re not there for most already.

Anyone have the full article that this odious prick Eamonn Sweeney wrote in the Irish Independent?

I refuse to pay for that paper. It is also the home of the incredible drunken wordsmith himself: Aldo. And of course they post our old pal Miguel Delooney's slanted articles too. A more biased and myopic newspaper regarding red teams I have ever seen. But this Sweeney character has been taking swings at us for ages now and not even trying to hide his bias and bile for us. ****.

Probably just to get a reaction but they whinge when people do the same to them. Both Merseyside clubs were founded by churches as you know but I don't think which was Catholic or Protestant was ever as obvious as it is in say Glasgow

Sweeney is a complete and utter ****, if any Irish blues bump into him… however unlikely, please slap his bald head for me

To annoy Rangers fans. I don't think it was that widespread, a few youths outside the stadium and some in the stadium at Ibrox maybe when a few Rangers youths approached them after the game (from what i heard and saw on social media)
The funny thing is in NI here if you go up the Shankill Road, or other Loyalist areas, Liverpool would be the one of the most popular teams.

Isn't it ironic.....
