To me the posters on RAWK are just a bit of a cult at this point. We could spend £0 for 3 years in a row and they would still claim we are cheating or some other drivel.

What is often not talked about is rival fans constantly talking about the Emiratis as Qataris and how racist that is.

Treating other people as a monolith is very much what racists do a lot of. How often have you heard all African people being put together by racists and not treat them as a vast array of different people speaking different languages, having different customs and different histories?

Will you ever see these people talk about Canada instead of Australia? Or New Zealand instead of USA? All the these countries are English speaking and may have some cultural/political similarities but are they simply replaceable with each other? Should we just replace USA with Canada in any political conversation and say "Canada has a gun culture" even though Canadian gun laws and culture is widely different from USA?

From RAWK. It is amazing that we are killing a sport given that their team has the best manager, best goalkeeper, best central defender, best full-backs, best front three and best manager. I know we can only imagine what it is like to be them, and we didn't climb the hill in our own way, but the venom on their forum is something to behold, especially given they were quadruple favourites until the last days of the season.

That's all I do too. Just check their score. No way do I ever watch them.

If they were a legitimate club playing great stuff I might have been tempted to have a look at them if I had a spare hour and a half, but they are a complete sham, and an abhorrent one at that. I just can't justify watching a bunch of scumbag mercenaries representing a pariah state whilst killing our sport.

I know. Its unbelievable. These people are literally the textbook example of sportswashing in action.

Fawning over the opponent who are only where they are through financial doping, whose main objective is to launder the reputation of a disgusting nation. You can say objectively that their quality is massive, but it's the weird expectation from some that we should all bow down and respect them. Makes me sick to be honest.
