Good post. I live in Hull for my sins and United and Liverpool "fans" are everywhere. They never go to watch them apart from legends matches or friendlies but all claim to be top supporters.

I never stop thinking "If you all went to watch Hull City instead, they'd have a phenomenal support."

It makes me piss when I see a car with a Hull KR or Hull FC sticker in one side of the back window and a Liverpool or United sticker on the other. "Aah, so your town's rugby team is good enough for you but you need reflective glory from a football team you have zero connection with?"

Worked with quite a few people from Hull and most are Leeds or Man Utd fans.

SSN have been calling it a "period of silence" All this has come about because the scousers couldn't keep their gobs shut for a "minutes silence" which it has always been called previously. Fuck them and fuck the arse licking press who pander to them, because they are so scared of upsetting them. Fucking outrageous!!!!

It could have been utd, whichever brand is winning is the go to choice for the armchair fan/follower.

They know fuckall about football except that utd and lfc are "big, so must I must follow them like I listen to coldplay"
