Not particularly, as ‘genealogically’ relates to study done by scientists on the lines of descent of genes within families and populations. It’s a distinct historical/scientific field.

My Sister and I are the same genealogically as we have the same family tree but have different genetics that make us two different humans.

Whenever these brain dead morons start up about plastic fans / empty seats etc etc ad nauseum, I do like to shut them up by, factually, stating that, in total over the 5 seasons after moving to East Manchester prior to the arrival of Sheikh Mansour, City had a higher average attendance than that recorded ast the Victimdrome - despite the fact that we were skint and on the edges of a relegation battle for most of that time, whilst they were fighting for top 4 and the title.

The mental gymnastics that ensue are par for the course from the kind of intellectual pygmies that make up the vast majority of their support...

"you were fiddling your attendance figures"... really? A club that was skint was going out of its way to artificially increase its tax liability??

"you were letting everyone in for free before the Arabs arrived"...really? A club that was skint was going out of its way to reduce its match day income??

"I don't care...you're a plastic club with no fans...and you've manufactured a rivalry with us because of us not being able to STFU about you for more than 2 minutes at a time...and we don't care about you...and you made up the coach attacks and spitting because merseyside police didn't arrest anyone...and we don't care about you...and you sang nasty songs about Sean Cox...and, and, have I told you we don't care about you?" ...

None of their arguments hold any water.

That bottom one can be completely refuted when you look at their results and performances around our game with them. Away at Arsenal they were poor and got beat, they beat us with their best performance and their crowd’s biggest celebrations at Anfield of the season with reactions of throwing coins at Pep and stones at our team bus, they were bobbins in their win against West Ham and the Irons missed a penalty, and they were terrible in getting beat by the worst team in the league.

Talk about ‘tell us we’re you Cup final without telling us we’re your Cup final…’

And they say that we are forcing a rivalry and they don’t care about us!

It's a joy to hear an evertonian rant about the other lot. And in fairness it's usually backed up with facts when they do. There are some good people there, and he sounds like one of them. I once dated a kopite and her family hated me beyond belief ( I assume because I am blue) and it was so funny. They all left the room when I came in, you just have to laugh at them.
Liverpool fans when they were successful could be complimentary , but their level of bile against others was usually when they weren't winning anything. In the 80s and 90s they hated us but there appeared a mutual respect also. It's radically changed now and can't see it ever getting better.

Fair enough. I would have thought they were two different fields that interact, and that you and your sister were both (presumably) genealogically English as that is where your family is from (at least as much as can be reliably determined), but that your genetics would be broader. probably, say, North European/Scandinavian. But what do I know?

Interesting anyway. I will go read up :)

Dear God. Everything to do with the club is a cult and they have the best everything - yet somehow in the same breath say that they can't compete.

Elliot is a promising player but it is embarrassing to claim that only Messi can keep up with him, when this season Elliot has three goals:
1 vs Bournemouth in a 9-0 demolition
1 vs a transfer raided Ajax
1 vs a Rangers team that has no business in the Champions League

He has zero assists this season.

Messi has 11 goals and 12 assists so far this season.

They are truly desperate...those fans from Northampton, or wherever....it's a myth trying to create a meaningful fan base when most...even match goers live 100's of miles away from Liverpool and have no connection aside from attaching themselves to a successful team... validating their life as they obviously do not have a lot of local mates etc...who else goes to games 100's of miles away but not round the corner from home? People who probably do not have a good group of mate from school...interesting study to be had here i think...
