Not really arsed that they booed the anthem. Irks me a bit that Sky were too scared to even mention it though.

But the dippers are very quick to moan if fans sing always the victims yet boo our National Anthem. It's their double standards that gets me.

The press/media seem to think sing always the victim is a bigger crime than booing our country's Anthem. Which I am guessing will be brushed under the carpet.

The scousers were "set up" apparently... Playing the victims again I see.

Horrible cunts

This guy is a journalist? I've not even really followed it but I saw it was made very clear the premier league suggested something to mark the coronation, with one option being the national anthem, nobody forced them to play it, Liverpool chose to play it. The simplest of searches could have told him that. Always the victims

Anyway, probably best to take any arguments about the monarchy to the relevant thread instead of detailing this one. Thanks in advance.

They remind me of the socialist workers party. Think they're edgy as fuck and cool as, everyone else thinks they're dicks. Couldn't give 2 fucks about the coronation, but sat down and didn't say anything at ours. Some people do care about it.
Exactly.
When half the crowd want to respectfully sing it, it would be rude to interfere whatever your personal views.

I Wonder if the same people getting all worked up and frothing at the mouth over the booing of the anthem, feel as strongly about our Prince being an actual paedophille rapist and our tax ££ being used by our queen to make it go away. A family of wealth and power who are above the common man and woman when it comes to the law.

I wouldnt personally boo the anthem but im not arsed in the slightest by people who do.

Awww bless, maybe there's not a lot of difference between blue and red dippers.

Scouse not English ehh?

So taa didn’t sing the anthem but wants to play for England. Shithouse ****.
This is my point. You want to go along with the anti singing the National Anthem and yet you want to play for England. That, by the way goes for player who doesn’t want to sing it and well done to Jordan Henderson who had the balls to sing it, as well as a few others inside anfield.

If people wanted to sing the anthem today because they respect or have admiration for the monarchy - good for them, go for it!

If people wanted to boo the anthem today because they hold the monarchy in disdain and are a bit peeved off by what they perceive as a sham of an 'event' taking place today when the country is on its arse - good for them too!

Don't see what all the fuss is about, those booing have as much right to voice protest as those who wish to pay respect.
