I agree but within this framework I would just prefer the rags to the ferals.
I find it difficult to comprehend how a City fan, particularly from Manchester, would want the rags to get CL before Liverpool. It wasn’t the scousers who had a 34yrs banner up for all those years.

The amount of times I have been forced to sit in church for a wedding or funeral, and listen to people herald God or cite the Lord's Prayer.

Guess what, I keep my fucking mouth shut out of respect for those people it means something to, even if I think it's a load of bullshit.

Sure, I could bring attention to myself by stating my belief God doesn't exist and religion has caused more deaths than most.

However, I have been brought up if you haven't anything nice to say or contribute, then keep your mouth shut and respect those people who have a different perspective.

Scouse scum couldn't even keep it shut for a woman who gave her entire life over to service when she died.

Yesterday was an incredible moment in history to witness, something to take pride in, even if you don't subscribe.

And spare me the PR spin from the Scouse media about freedom of speech and Merseyside oppression.

The majority of that Anfield crowd probably aren't even from Merseyside, a City that voted a Conservative council and counted Michael fucking Hesseltine as its biggest champion.

Where's my Mace?
That’s a post, that is.
Bump.

You have to look beyond qualification.
Liverpool would be a bigger threat to winning it next season than the rags would be.

They’re a couple of signings away from competing with us again. Can’t stand him but Klopp is still a threat

Almost a certainty now, 8 points ahead of Villa with 3 to play, they've cheated their way into Europe again.

They will be favourites for the Thursday night cup next season. Another cheating way to get back into the CL.

That was exactly me mate, I’ve no interest generally either way in the Monarchy and just caught a bit of it, ended up watching far more than I ever imagined I would and began thinking what an historical occasion/event it was and to witness part of it.
It was a historical event, the first time I’ve lived under a king but I would be lying if I said I was interested in it. I watched a bit at the gym as it was on the telly, but I can’t understand why I should be proud and it kind of disturbs me that I’m apparently some kind of traitor because of it. And no, I’m not taking the bank holiday off because I work on bank holidays.

Lol a few dippers want Henderson out the club for singing the anthem.
He’s from Sunderland. Not Liverpool. Also he’s a grown man and can sing it if he wants. And they’re not arsed about him playing for England.

I’ve mentioned before that I’m a Space fan. They’re Liverpool supporters and Franny, their keyboard player, is a season ticket holder at Anfield. I have a copy of Melody Maker from 1998 where they were talking about the World Cup (Tommy Scott sang on How Does It Feel to Be on Top of the World? with Echo and the Bunnymen, Simon from Ocean Colour Scene and the Spice Girls) and Franny said he wanted England to win. Fast forward to the 2010s and Space’s reunion, and he now hates England, IIRC he had a Croatian flag up when we played them, and has gone full Scouse Not English. I remember he was rooting for Uruguay in 2014. I wonder what happened to make him do a 180.

Between 1994 and 2013, the people of Liverpool, Merseyside and the wider north-west of England benefited to the tune of £1.3bn from successive funding programmes, with a further £450m agreed up to 2020.

That was matched either in full or in part during that time period from different British Governments.

Whilst over at Liverpool City Council, which has been under special measures and is being run by other councillor leaders from other cities appointed by the Government.

This page collates all the publications relating to the inspection carried out by Max Caller CBE into Liverpool City Council conducted under section 10 of the Local Government Act 1999, and subsequent intervention.

It is a matter of public record that Merseyside Police have for many months been conducting an investigation which has resulted in a number of arrests made on suspicion of fraud, bribery, corruption and misconduct in public office, both in December 2019 and in September 2020. Further arrests were made on 4 December 2020 in connection with offences of bribery and witness intimidation. This investigation involves a significant connection to Liverpool City Council.

So don’t believe the bullshit and lies that the British Government, Labour and Conservative, have never done anything for Liverpool.
Degsy Hatton doesn't like this post

By the people, for the people.
In any country it should be all about the people.
If you look into the base cause of poverty around the world, it isn't a lack of resources that is the cause, it is establishments and elites usurping the rights of their populations and keeping them illiterate and powerless in order to exploit them.
You can see signs of it creeping into the body politic of this country day by day.
what uni are you at ?

Probably got molested by Prince Andrew.

This s so true, I mean Manchester has a very similar make up, working class, former colliery areas, huge Irish diaspora all of that, but modern football is ridiculous, wages that are obscene, prices that are ridiculous, travel so expensive. It's hard for genuine socialists to reconcile their support for a Prem team. Goes against normal beliefs of equality really. mean 200,000 - 500,000 per week is crazy when we have more foodbanks than McDonalds currently. We have a warped mind set. I can't leave City alone tbh, i know loads who think the same and loads who now only watch non league football. But ..non league football is just the same mind set with less money ...look at Wrexham for e.g. huge investment - fans love it, they win
With £500,000 I would have financial security for the rest of my life. I don't have lavish tastes.
Currently I am 4/500 of the way there, not much time left....
