The only desire and effort that can be attributed to those cunts is that of making everyone hate them.
They do it better than anyone because it means more.

He was brilliant at his peak, but that peak is now a few years behind him - never been right since that injury.

I don't agree. He was good, nothing more. Look how exposed Liverpool are now without the three demented workhorses protecting him. They have one now, Endo.

He won't get blamed for the goal but surely he could have tried to at least put Fernandes off. When the pass was played to him he was 2 yards away from where Fernandes eventually strikes it. He just backed away 4 yards after pointing at the keeper. Which is quicker 2 yards forwards or 4 backwards? He was probably worried about protecting his "never dribbled around" stats.
