It's a funny thing, isn't it? According to the BBC, Liverpool “thrashed” Spurs. They beat them, convincingly, 4-2. They did not thrash them. A two-goal margin is not a thrashing, of anyone, by anyone.
I don't know if Liverpool get reffed differently. But they definitely get covered differently. There's just no question about it.
