Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

Modern life and social media for you. Anyone can post absolute crap and it gains wings and becomes fact. I do actually believe the viewing figures were in our favour but as you say who actually gives a shit? I was at the game and that's all I cared about. As Tyler used to say, "It's liiiiiiiiiive!" And it certainly was.
The premier league viewing figures say that on average 1.3m people watched City v West Ham (more than the audience against Villa in 21/22).

In comparison, an average of 900k watched Liverpool's match v Wolves.

City also had the highest share of voice with 30% - higher than the top ten clubs in Europe.

No one would normally care but it's more than worth pointing out the facts to scousers chatting shit.

I have heard all sorts of complete and utter bollocks Monday, Tuesday and this morning.
Sat there looking smug as they trotted out 115, Lance Armstrong, Klipperty leaving, viewing figures and on and on it went alongside their new found rag relatives.
Finally gave in and just said that we’ve been Champions now for 2 Olympic Games.
It hasn’t half wound the daft fuckers up!
It doesn’t even mean anything yet they’re all foaming at the mouth.
So now I am going to attempt to find out:
How many number 1’s there’s been since we were last not Champions.
Easy one of course is to claim there’s been a 115 charges - own that from now on.
I am going to become an even bigger pain in the arse than ever before - that really will take some doing!

2 league appearances for Celtic and 3 for the scousers and he's got into the national side?
Please behave. He is not in the National side. Been named in an expanded squad for experience at a time when scotland is short of high quality footballers. Won't be going to Germany
