Them lot again, but good luck with getting the club to help with Identifying the fans:

Eight people have been arrested after Saturday's Merseyside derby, where a female fan and a police officer were hit by bottles.
The officer suffered a laceration to his face and was treated at Anfield stadium after the attack at about 11:50 BST, Merseyside Police said.
Eight people were held on suspicion of various offences, including hate and tragedy chanting, and ticket touting.
Police described the behaviour as "totally unacceptable".
Ch Insp Iain Wyke said: "The police officer was at the ground to ensure that all match-goers were able to enjoy the game safely, so to be assaulted in such a manner when he was simply doing his job is shocking.
"I know most football fans would rightly be appalled by this and I would encourage anyone who witnessed the incidents to contact us."
Details about the female fan's condition have not been revealed.
The force said it would liaise with Liverpool and Everton to identify the people responsible for throwing bottles.
Its a conversation that the media and especially dippers do not want to have, whenever there is trouble who is the common denominator? but its everyones fault but liverpools

Have the clubs apologised?

I think we can all probably now hazard a fairly decent guess as to why the sad news of Charlton's death was left until after their match at the weekend was finished to be announced.
its so massively frustrating that everybody still continues to pander to the scousers, the media and the fa should be ashamed that these fools who do nothing but cause problems and embarass the game are continually pandered to just so they dont get offended, they should be continually called out and if they want to play the victim then let them its gone on that long that it doesnt mean anything anymore.

I mean whats the headline gonna be, the scousers are offended and everyones response will be what about this time while rolling their eyes, it should be a constant source of shame to the fa and the media that these permanently offended morons and the other red idiots dont play to the same rules as everyone else.

I agree mate.

Them lot couldn't even keep quiet for 30 seconds during the "moment's silence" for the situation in Palestine/Israel, but it was a derby so there's always some over-excited idiot who feels the need to shout and be heard. And don't get me started on what happened when news broke of the Queen's death.

If the news about Charlton had been released in the morning or on Football Focus, (seems unusual that it wasn't as it was known about by then) I can "almost" guarantee that they would've chanted about it.

But then, WE wouldn't be the "classless morons" that we're now being painted as after a few idiots did it during our match, and with our own derby on the horizon, the media NEEDED to make us the pantomime villains this week, like they always do.

the moment we let being offended become a crime all sense went out of the windows, look what these guys did was attention seeking idiocy but the reality is that no one cares apart from the press who need to make a story out of anything, a club legend died just like a club legend died for us not three weeks back if anyone thinks no united or liverpool fan made derogatory or childish remarks then they are out of their mind, the plain and simple fact is united fans arent holier than thou and the liverpool fans are even worse but god forbid genuine facts get in the way in the narrative that they are creating.

Even tent peg was at it , saying the players wanted to win for bobby, what a load of horse shit, bobby charlton means as much to that current group of players as bobby smith, its just latching on to any kind of grief for good pr and anyone with half a brain knows it but the reality is that most rags and dippers and the media dont possess half a brain

Very sad news about Bobby Charlton much like Franny Lee but to say these players who play nowadays are gonna play better with more intensity or raise the game is a complete joke.. these players especially from abroad don't give two hoots about Franny or Bobby they probably never heard of them. Like if a 20 year old English player went and played for Madrid and Puskas or Di Stefano sadly passed away at the time you think anything would register.

If this was Everton fans then the headline would say 'Everton Fans' no doubt about it.

They add in tragedy chanting to make out the blue fans are terrible. Hopefully, one of 40 odd thousand people in the stadium with a phone caught the chanting on camera?

Throwing bottles is mindless and anyone who does it is not a football fan, just an idiot who needs locking up.
