Might be worth waiting to see if he can replicate his odd decent performance in midfield on a weekly basis against half decent teams before we label him as some kind of phenomenon.I'm the one clearly watching Football.
Was there not a game where klopp took him off at half time when he had broken all premier league records for giving the ball away in the first half?I'm the one clearly watching Football.
It's not a crime to actually praise a player from another club. I have my opinion, you clearly have yours. I'm not blinded by the hatred for another club.Might be worth waiting to see if he can replicate his odd decent performance in midfield on a weekly basis against half decent teams before we label him as some kind of phenomenon.
Every player goes through a bad spell. Was there not a game where klopp took him off at half time when he had broken all premier league records for giving the ball away in the first half?
Slight edit.Any update on the sale yet? I understand potential purchasers were queuing round the blockhead Howson.

He definitely has the skillset to play as an inverted full back into midfield like Stones did.
We are talking about a player who's broken the assists record from his position in the Premier League. We aren't talking about Wan Bissaka or Joe Gomez.
Never once labelled him as a Phenomenon. I just said I think they will go up another level if they use Trent as an inverted full back.

In fairness, he’s been nothing but utter gash as a right back from day one, had a couple of decent games in midfield against limited opposition … He’s good at the set piece and as you say a good passer of the ball when on form… I call him Truant not Trent, as he goes missing a lot in big games …Every player goes through a bad spell.
Stones had one, Foden, Grealish etc. Trent had an horrific time of it last season, but form is temporary and class is permanent.
Just because he's a Liverpool player, doesn't mean I have to withold an opinion I have for one of their players on this forum. I'd love to see him at City personally, he's a quality player and there's much more to his game than we know. I'd love to see what Pep could do with him.
Yes. He's one of the best passers in world football and is much better in the midfield. He cannot defend.
