He definitely has the skillset to play as an inverted full back into midfield like Stones did.

What are the specific skills you need to play this role? I’m curious.

I would think it would be positioning, and that’s one of his weakest assets at right back, alongside general awareness.

It's not a crime to actually praise a player from another club. I have my opinion, you clearly have yours. I'm not blinded by the hatred for another club.

We are talking about a player who's broken the assists record from his position in the Premier League. We aren't talking about Wan Bissaka or Joe Gomez.

Never once labelled him as a Phenomenon. I just said I think they will go up another level if they use Trent as an inverted full back.

It’s no good being an inverted full back if defensively you are a liability. Stones has it all, “Trent” doesn’t.

PM me your dealers number.
Can't be a bad passer of the ball with the amount of assists he gets.

In my opinion, he's got De Bruyne like vision (not saying he's anywhere near as good before people lose their shit). I'm not the first to say this also.

Problem with Trent is that he's so complacent. His marking is absolutely atrocious, and looks like he doesn't have a care in the world half of the time.

In fairness, he’s been nothing but utter gash as a right back from day one, had a couple of decent games in midfield against limited opposition … He’s good at the set piece and as you say a good passer of the ball when on form… I call him Truant not Trent, as he goes missing a lot in big games …

Each to their own though …
I think he's easily one of the country's most naturally talented players. I just see an enormous amount of potential there, and an empty headed individual who's arrogant, complacent and lazy. When a player goes past him, he's not bothered about getting back to defend. His lack of concentration is a weakness of his game.

If Pep got hold of him, I really do think we'd see a different player, but that's just my opinion. When Pep leaves City, I'd love him to manage England and see if this theory of mine comes to fruition.

Still more worried about them then Arsenal, they are either shit or breathing down our necks so it's time for the latter

They deffo need a new defensive midfielder, and not a prospect like Lavia but someone to immediately come in

Salah and Allison are world class, Robertson, Van Dijk could return to that level

The two midfielders they signed are good players

Get that DM, they'll be back
I agree, completely.

Guess time will tell, but I think this lot are our main threat for sure.

Arsenal, far too weak for me.
