Most football fans would be appalled by this.Them lot again, but good luck with getting the club to help with Identifying the fans:
Eight people have been arrested after Saturday's Merseyside derby, where a female fan and a police officer were hit by bottles.
The officer suffered a laceration to his face and was treated at Anfield stadium after the attack at about 11:50 BST, Merseyside Police said.
Eight people were held on suspicion of various offences, including hate and tragedy chanting, and ticket touting.
Police described the behaviour as "totally unacceptable".
Ch Insp Iain Wyke said: "The police officer was at the ground to ensure that all match-goers were able to enjoy the game safely, so to be assaulted in such a manner when he was simply doing his job is shocking.
"I know most football fans would rightly be appalled by this and I would encourage anyone who witnessed the incidents to contact us."
Details about the female fan's condition have not been revealed.
The force said it would liaise with Liverpool and Everton to identify the people responsible for throwing bottles.

It’s not inconsistency mate, they are fuckin bent and ref City differently, it happens way too often for it to be anything else …Other than wearing the wrong colour shirt, how was the Akanji 2nd yellow and different to the Konate foul?
Both virtually exactly the same foul in almost the same place on the pitch.
So frustrating how inconsistent referees are

Has the PL sent a tweet out yet attacking the fans of LFC and EFC like they did to the six teenage City fans singing on the concourse.Have the clubs apologised?
The weird thing is, most City fans were saying the Konate foul should have resulted in a second yellow, yet for the Akanji foul, the same people were saying it wasn't worthy of a yellow card. I always think Pawson looks scared, and like a rabbit in the headlights, so it doesn't surprise me that he completely bottled that one.

Not had one on that thread ( a ban ) for about 1 year now,but used to get them regular,its 1 week today so maybe its permanent,there is one on there now ( a meme ) for 4 or 5 days that is to say,controversial but still there.Why are you banned from the joke thread?

Unlike fans of most smaller, lower league clubs that gracefully accept their place in the hierarchy but also go absolutely nuts at the smallest success, these lot just gripe about everything.
They've never seemed to take any joy from following their club or watching games, it's been more a begrudging 'I'm here aren't I' attitude like it's something you had to do if you weren't a red manc
It's no surprise that a rivals death is so crassly thought of by them when they've barely had a player worthy of others respect.

The Akanji one was VERY soft, but if the Konate one had have been given, I wouldn't have had an issue with it. What I'm not happy with is that we seem to be getting a lot of 'by the letter of the law' decisions going against us that other teams get the 'common sense' approach (excuse).
