If you think about it their last period of domination stopped when Dalgleish stepped down. They’ve had managers who achieved the odd cup here and there in Houlier and Benitez winning the champions league. That’s a good 30 year period of failure considering they’ve had more money than most clubs in the Premier League on tv money and monopolised the Champions league spaces until City came along and pushed them down the pecking order.

No dipper under the aged of 40 will have a recollection of Liverpool being all conquering which is why they won’t have memories of Shankley and Paisley being successful. The first time they thought they were in with a sniff of getting back to those days with Klopp they encountered a winning machine in City and Guardiola. It must be killing then and why Klopp can’t hack it there anymore.
Houlier's record stands up to Bingo's tbh.

It would be like us having Someone after Pep to the fans.

They just seem a basket case of a club that anything could happen.
True, but we’d hate Tuchel here too. Not only is the bloke really weird, he doesn’t play decent football.

Doubtful Barca could afford Bayern’s demands to take him anyway.
