You have to doff your cap, as it’s been a season where the Prem suddenly became a 6 or 7 horse race, and they’ve won it at a canter.

Yes, they’ve had the run of the green, but over the season, Slot has turned them into a strong attacking force that is far more controlled than Klopp’s Gegenpress machine.

If they had a serious centre forward, they’d be a formidable force.

It remains to be seen whether Slot & Liverpool have fallen victim to the emotional signing of their aging stars, or whether they’ve got another season or two in them.

Title race has been over for months, so it’s been an anticlimactic end for the whole Top 2 “race,” but there’s a serious battle going to be waged over the next few weeks for the “3 from 5” CL spots remaining! That’ll definitely go down to the last day!
