can you imagine how many fans they would have left if they had to put up with the shit teams and management we have suffered over the years ?
They talk about us "ruining football" - but they are ruining what it is to be a football fan.

They are a right load of soft arses aren't they, they had it good for so long both them and the Rags two sides of the same coin, carved things up between themselves and now it's all falling apart on them, forgive me if I don't waste any time getting upset about it they need a taste of the real world a demotion or two to really temper them, they need more seasons in the football wilderness to give them back some basic humility and to realise that success is not a god given right to any club I think I might take a look on RAWK for a laugh
They ain't happy over there. Good. I hate them. Bunch of deluded wankers desperate to eat up all the propaganda their scum owners and slimy manager dish out every summer and then throwing tantrums when results don't go their way as anyone with sense could have seen would happen.

Surely the point is that most of them know nothing other than being one of the top clubs; and the same applies to fans of the swamp donkeys.
Liverpool won lots in the 70s and 80s, and while the title has eluded them (apart from Champions of April), they've done pretty well in domestic and European cups over the past few decades. Fans of the rags have also enjoyed an unbelievable spell over twenty odd years.
How would they cope at Wycombe, Macc, Northampton and York? We can't possibly tell, and unfortunately they are unlikely to fall that far so we won't find out.
Those who come from out of town (have a look at the coaches on Priory Road) are generally glory seekers even though they claim to be descended from economic migrants of years gone by, but the locals also feed on the 'istree guff and don't understand what it means to support a team just because they are your club.
We too have glory seekers; had them for years, but ours seem to have weathered the lunacy of the Swales era and remain loyal. I'm not sure if our new glory seekers will do the same, or if those of Liverpool and the rags (and Arsenal and Chelsea) will.

it's the important lesson we can take, they've (Rags and Dippers) fallen so far backwards trying to stop us, when the time comes that they have a resurgence, or a new team comes on the block, we need to focus on looking forwards and continue to develop, rather than stagnate by trying to block and stifle.

It's going to be a painful decade or so for them I reckon.

I think they will become like Aston villa. The ground is shit and the stand has to be paid for. The team is very weak and the city won't attract star players. I drive around the training ground recently. Poor James Milner - what a comedown.

They'll have an improved stadium soonish so maybe that'll be the catalyst for better times...hope not obviously. Loving their awfulness.
