Quite a clever interview from Milner. He's made it public why he moved to Liverpool, to be first choice in central midfield (a position he knew he could never have at City) and he's made it quite clear that Brendan has assured him that he will be just that - first choice in central midfield. Definitely designed to make Brendan aware that he doesn't expect to be 'fucked over' and shifted to wing-back as and when it suits. Will be interesting to see how this pans out, every manager since he moved from Villa has seen his strengths as a wide player offering protection to the full back rather than his favoured central midfield role. The Rodger's and Milner 'love in' might not last as long as Milners contract.
