Don`t know if it`s been posted before, but this is Worth a repost. A little throwback to after they lost to the rags, and one of the cultists decided to make THE most cringeworthy posts in internet history

Jesus wept that is absolutely tragic
It's bordering on child abuse. I wouldn't be surprised if the poor kid has started having nightmares and wetting the bed.

We'd all like cheaper prices but they've missed the point. They're selling some completely new seats, in the new main stand, at £77. It's up to anyone paying that whether they buy one or not but no one is being forced to pay £77 for a seat if they don't want to. Liverpool have offered cheap tickets in other parts of the ground (£9 for some games) and have a scheme to give local fans access to 20,000 tickets over a season as well as giving away 1,000 tickets over the season to local schools and groups. And two thirds of seasons tickets will decrease in price or be frozen. They've been actively talking to the fans about this and these are things the fans asked for. Whether anyone will pay that or the hospitality prices ot watch a mid-table team is another question.

When we opened the new South Stand third tier, many had to give up their seats in areas that had been converted to Joe's or 93:20. They had the chance to pay the extra or move, plus we offered many £299 season tickets. It's swings and roundabouts.
Its not just the new seats that are going to be £77 though existing ones are as well, people who have had season tickets in the main stand for years are going to have to pay over £1000 a year now if they want to keep them.
The anfield road end are seeing rises of up to £65 a ticket.
It looks like the owners have thought by keeping the Kop end cheap then the most vocal supporters in the ground will be happy, not that the Kop is very vocal these days.
It will also be harder to get Kop seats next season as season ticket holders apply (although not guaranteed) to move there plus the cheaper tickets will sell first leaving the regular Kop end match goer with a choice of not going or paying nearly £30 more to watch the game.

They are going to be paying champions league team prices for a midtable club no wonder they are pissed off.

If they will have the same capacity as us. Reckon they will fill it every week.
I know they have a far greater tourist trade than we do but their solid fan base is working class like ours isn't it.
Will they have an extra 10K tourists to fill it as they're not pulling trees up right now?

They have a wider culture of 'sharing' their season cards than we do, and of course a much larger fan base.
I also suspect they have a much deeper culture of spending more on Liverpool than we do on City. All their past success gives rise to that, and of course the 'cult' like nature of the fans means they'll keep paying silly money regardless of the protests.
