Bollocks, it' not his fault that he gets so far up the pitch and then some fucker gives the ball away and leaves him hung out to dryKyle Walker is not good enough for champions league games. Nowhere near it. He's had shockers in games we've won(shaktar comes to mind) and we need an upgrade for the bigger games.
Gundogan needs moving on, an utter waste of space. For all the talk of Bernardo in the middle, we know it's not going to happen now.
Talk about a bloody task ahead on Tues. Still, if Salah is out and Kun comes back in, we've a slim chance.
Slim.
You cannot have watched a single game where Delph has played left back this season, 99% of the time he's been a revelation and dug City out of a big hole in that position...Delph has been shocking, a fish out of water like his colleague Walker.
Look mate, what has happened to our club in last 10 years has been a wonderful thing, what happened in the many decades before has been character building and I like to think makes us better supporters and human beings. The fact the rags don’t and and never have behaved like that demonstates that. If you want to be like that then that is your choice but if lots of fellow blues also do so then that saddens me.
Champions League is more than a bonus. It's the next priority after the league. Wigan was 10 men, and it's a one-off - an FA Cup which was low priority. This was the Champions League, and we've gone from being almost perfect, to a side which has come up seriously short tonight. Of course it takes the shine off the season. To say otherwise is just silly. massive disappointment. That does not mean it's not been a good season, but it's a blot on the copybook
Heart says City can still win this, head says most likely thing is City score three or even four at home but the scouse get a breakaway goal at some point.
Grow a set yourself and accept we're out. Shit happens. Now on to Saturday.
Let's get the league done and then we can think about next week.
