Liverpool v City - post match thread

Manual threw raheem under the bus this week. Disgraceful mis-management, and how he treated kelechi this week is almost as bad.

The dippers were fired up as usual , fully expected a defeat , it was a after the lord mayors show performance , and now this is out of the way , we have half a dozen winnable games , there will be a lot of people eating there words on here at the end of the month , if anyone really thinks the Rags of the West Haaaaaaam are going to take our top four place , you are wrong , its Arsenal wo are going to lose out , they are in free fall , hoping the bookies make us around 10/1 for the title now , time to make some money with Raggy arse Fred Done.

Once again the manager proves what a clueless fuckwit he really is. I'm so angry at the moment that I cant be arsed to point out in detail why so many things went wrong with yet another tactical shambles. But ultimately it was all about attitude. Liverpool's was all about pride, determination, working for each other and doing the hard, painful work needed to win tough games. We were prima donas. To frail, to tired and to well paid, too care. Where was the energy of the group, where was the pride of the group, where was the determination to win from the group. It wasn't there because it isn't there. Tonight was a momentous night in our season. Win and we are right back in it, lose and we are looking over our shoulder. Sometimes you have to lose but it's how you lose that matters.

If we lose 3-0 but we've got 6 yellow cards, 2 players covered in blood and every single player too tired to walk off the pitch because they've given their all in the last 90 minutes then I'm the last man clapping with pride. Pride not because we have won but pride because we know everyone has given their all as a team. Tonight there was no team, there was no pride, there was no plan and we got exactly what we deserved.

Pellegrini is a charlatan; a conman; a man promoted far above his station and ability. In his three years he has added nothing and his victories are a result of the legacy of the hard work of those who preceded him.

If we risk waiting until the summer then we may miss out on Champions League and the ramifications that brings. He needs to go now.

As bad as things seem, if we win our game in hand we are a point behind Arsenal. I don't think they are out of the title race yet so a few wins against Villa and Norwich and its game on. Keep the faith......

Agree I also thought we would end up losing this game and 11 games left long way to go, let's see where we are with 5 to 6 games to go.

what the fuck did I just witness , what the fuck did he try to do, all he did tonight was destroy any momentum after a pretty good week, how the fuck do we leave ourselves so wide open against Liverpool, dont worry I thought we cant get any worse 2nd half, then pellers has a fucking brain fart and leaves us with a knackered silva and Fernando in the middle, fucking shocking,

If you're that angry then give yourself the night off PB, you're not doing yourself any fa ours with comments like that

The comment is over the top but aren't you angry with that and other performances?

Ffs pal on our form they will be past us by weekend. Games in hand mean jack when you're playing as badly as us.
As badly as us? A dominant performance in Europe - away - followed by a cup win?
What would you have preferred, to lose the final just to be three points ahead of United?
Fuck. That.
