Our attacking tactics ...

I am pretty ashamed of lots of stuff written by so called 'supporters' over the last few hours. To many we have gone from cup winners to dross in the course of three days. I am not a massive Pellegrini fan as a coach, but some of the stuff on here in the last few hours is a disgrace as are many of the comments about one of our greatest ever players, David Silva. Some seem to have forgotten already how well he played last Wednesday, and then again on Sunday. All the time carrying an injury that he has played through all season. As for Manuel, if he made a mistake, it was to not freshen up the team more than he did. Most of us were happy enough with the team he picked before the event. Yesterday also showed how much we miss Yaya, another of our players that only has to misplace a pass to get crucified. I'm taking a break from the forum for a short while as it's becoming increasingly difficult to avoid the shit that is getting posted. This place is getting too much like Animal Farm, sadly many are turning into what we despised most.

When someone says player xyz was garbage, they don't mean he's a bad person or a paedophile ffs and if someone plays shite, then I don't see any problem with saying "I thought xyz played shite".

Likewise for the manager, if he get's it wrong (more or less constantly) what would you have us say "Well done, nice try, unlucky".

I agree, probably best you stay away if the truth offends you.

Anyone only has to look at the stats this season and even last, to conclude that had Pep not been coming, Pellegrini would have been sacked months ago.

We have 6 points from 33 in our games against the top 8, FFS. We are 11th in our *home* form guide. Having in previous seasons lost 0, 1 or 2 home games all season.

Shambles or disgrace are not strong enough words to be honest.

Everyone has the answer
If only

"From the beginning, I saw the team were not recovered from the last week. It was intense with travel to Ukraine and the final"

Should have anticipated that. We have only a few injuries now and could have freshened the team up and that would have had a knock on effect into the Villa game. Messed it up again Pellegrini

You're not alone. Enjoy the break x

The only really surprising thing is the fact Liverpool didn't play like that on Sunday, they must be kicking themselves.
