I don’t see any changes other than Joe back in net.

At a push I’d get Navas in. I would drop Yaya, if Pellers was going to do it he would drop Fernando.

The team picks itself. We have a few players recently back from injury who are just finding form and some people are suggesting resting them. I think it is only sustained regular matches that starts to bring on fatigue. Yaya and Fdinho have played loads but the rest of the squad have had periods out – they don’t need any rest.
Is Yaya actually fit? Wasn't there talk about a kick on a foot?

Yeah, i heard talk of knock. By the way he was walking at the end of the final i think he needs both legs amputating (i am not a doctor).

Yaya out Navas in on the right, two F's in midfield. Nice balance and energey about that set up. Bring it on.

Can't see yaya

Facing a deflated, half fit Liverpool team a few days after they just lost a cup final? There haven't been many better times than this to play them on their own patch that's for sure. All the momentum will be with us especially as we know a win puts us firmly back in the hunt for the title.

I'd rather see us lose tonight trying to win than steal a point trying not to get beat. We need to get at them from the first whistle, their fans will give up if we score early. I also wouldn't be surprised if Klopp decides to rest a few players tonight to keep them fresh for upcoming Europa League games with our noisy neighbours.

There really aren't too many excuses not to win tonight IMO. Both teams will be similarly tired after the exertions at Wembley and it looks like their best player from Sunday, Lucas, may be out. Klopp has also hinted that Sturridge might not make it either which would be a big bonus as he's quality when firing. As you say, he may rest a few because of the Europa League too. Of course, the counter to that is that whoever comes in will have fresh legs and no-one needs reminding how woeful our record at Anfield is. But with us looking more solid and generally a much a better side of late following the Kiev and Wembley performances, plus Liverpool's minds perhaps being elsewhere, we should be bang up for this.

You can't win the league in March, but you can sure as hell lose it. I think this is the year we get 3 points at Anfield.

Hart, Zab, Vinny, Nico, Clichy, Fernando, Fernandinho, Navas, Silva, Sterling, Kun.

2-0 City.

Sounds good to me KC. I will take it.

I would say it's a must not lose game.

A draw wouldn't be the end of the world
Not the end of the world but we really need a win to convince both ourselves and the others that we can go on a run which will put us right in contention. Time is starting to run out
