Liverpool v City

Think its a tough one and the manager needs to get his tactics right from the start.

We went there last season and when we attacked in 2nd half we looked like we could win the game.

Come on Hughesy, all out attack and drive the nail into RAFAS coffin

We got a draw there in three successive seasons if I remember right - 1990/91, 91/92 and 92/93. The first two were classic 2-2 draws, I remember Niall Quinn equalising with the last touch of the game, Reid had just been appointed player manager, and Liverpool were reigning champions at the time[/quote]

Any news as to whether or not the 'Horse Placenta Treatment' the Liverpool players have received in Serbia this week has started working?

I gather that Gerrard has been over to Belgrade as well as Aurelio and Johnson after Benitez had heard that Eduardo and Van Persie are/have received this form of medication.

If they're out there on the pitch tomorrow I hope that Benitez has remembered to assign someone the job of sweeping up the copious droppings if too high a dose was administered.

I think De Jong's sole job is to "take care" of Gerrard. That should win us the game if Torres doesn't play

Agree completely. If we man-mark Gerrard and make it 10 versus 10 we should hammer liverpool. We have much greater depth of talent all over the park.

De Jong would be the obvious candidate, but Zabaleta or Kompany may also be considered for the 'specialist man-marker' role.
